The situation that arose out of Star Carving Dragonar blew up because of some really petty opinions of mine. While I will not rescind my opinions of their watermarking habit, I do apologize for the accusations of theft that occured. I would like to stress that we had no intent of trying to steal Dragonar, the story of how our two groups somehow managed to both get Shi-Ki’s blessing for Dragonar is best left to private conversations. We fully intended to do a proper scanlation from the beginning due to admission on Shi-Ki’s part that the quality of their chapter 1 release was dubious. Between delays of getting the volume in hand as well as getting an appropriate translator, we ended up months behind schedule on releasing the first chapter. Due to our own lateness and the needless drama that has arisen because of this situation, the staff of FTH-Scans has decided to cancel work on Star Carving Dragonar and drop it immediately.

I’m not going to bother with addressing the personal attacks about my ego. You all can believe what you will about me if you want. I have a simple philosophy about this line of work, and that is to deliver a top-tier scanlation that we are proud of and that represents the quality of the original work as accurately as possible.
